Student Experiences

Every year, students embark on a transformative Fall Retreat, a chance to step away from daily routines, recharge spiritually, and deepen their faith alongside friends. This retreat provides a unique opportunity for students to seek God and build lasting connections in a refreshing and peaceful setting. Whether through outdoor activities, small group discussions, or moments of personal reflection, the Fall Retreat is a highlight of the year—helping students return refreshed, refocused, and spiritually renewed.

Going on a mission trip can be life-changing, offering a new perspective and a lasting impact. That’s why our program includes an annual mission trip, giving students the opportunity to serve others while growing in their faith. Through hands-on service and community outreach, students make a difference while being transformed themselves.

Our students grow together both on and off campus through a vibrant community at SPC. On campus, community is built through weekly chapels, designated class time, daily morning prayer, and time spent with church staff in the office. Students have the opportunity to be part of an engaging campus life.
Beyond campus, community continues with weekly hangouts and gatherings designed to foster connection. Whether it’s exploring downtown Kansas City, discovering the best local coffee shops, or taking a day trip to the lake, there are countless opportunities for students to build lasting relationships.

Through Summit Park Church, they discover what it means to grow, connect, and live out their faith together.

Whether it’s exploring local coffee shops, discovering the best bbq spot, or engaging in the rich culture, KC sets the table for memorable moments that can help shape your life!
HOUSING:
At Home
If you live within an hour of Summit Park Church, then you are more than welcome to commute from your house! This can allow you to save money and live with family while attending Summit Park College.
Apartments
Students coming from both in-state and out-of-state also have the option to live in apartments off-site at The Fairways Apartments. These apartments are conveniently located 10 minutes from Summit Park Church and would allow you to live with other students in Summit Park College. Please fill out the form below if you are interested in this housing option.
Option One: One-bedroom furnished apartment for two students for $6,296 added to site fee per year
Option Two: Two-bedroom furnished apartment for four students for $3,600 added to site fee per year
